Carl Nasal, Team Leader/Owner

What he does at Sentree: Move the business forward and keep everything running smoothly.

Let’s Get Personal

Hobbies: Spending time with my wife and children, reading, coming up with new business ideas.
Bucket List Item: Go for an extended trip to Europe with my wife and kids.
Family: My beautiful and amazing wife, Sarah, who helps run the company; and my 3 beautiful girls (1 month old, 2 year old, and 4 year old).
Hidden Talent: Juggling 3 children and a hosting company while working from home. (The secret is to share it with my awesome wife.)

Q&A

Who is someone you admire in the WordPress or Tech community and why?

Carl: I really respect Matt Mullenweg. He is constantly trying to move WordPress forward and lead it, and it’s a unique project with such a huge impact and a lot of people involved.

What is your proudest WordPress or Career moment?

Carl: I’m proud that we’ve been in business since 2006, and I still get to do what I love. So every day is my proudest moment.

If you weren’t working in web/web tech, what is another career you might like to attempt?

Carl: It would be in some sort of computer/technology field, or at least a math-related field. I’d probably still be sitting at a desk, no matter what job I did. 🙂

Tell us something else interesting about you.

Carl: While I have a BS degree in Computer Science, I don’t think I’ve ever used anything from it even being in this industry. Technology is ever changing, and I love that I get to keep learning new things.
